Mr. Gupta holds a B.Tech (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur and a PGDIIT in Industrial Design from IIT Bombay.
With a tremendous five decades of extensive leadership experience in strategic growth, diversification, international business, joint ventures, technical collaborations & planning new ventures across the automotive and engineering sectors. He has held senior-most positions with leading organizations including Tecumseh, LML Scooters, Hero Cycles, JBM and Sanden Vikas.

James holds an MA in History from Cambridge University and an MPhil from The Courtauld Institute, London.
James brings over three decades of experience in international investment banking, corporate advisory and cross-border business. He is an experienced international business and investment professional supporting EPSS India in developing strategic relationships and cross-border opportunities between the UK, India and South Korea.
He spent 16 years with Lazard (1982–1998), becoming a Main Board Director in 1995. From 1993 to 1995, he was based in New Delhi as President of Lazard’s Indian joint venture, gaining extensive experience of the Indian business environment. In 1998, he left Lazard to establish International Advisory Partners Ltd (IAP) in London.
At EPSS India, James brings valuable UK business exposure, international relationships and India-market experience, helping connect companies and investors seeking to explore market entry, partnerships and investment opportunities in UK, India & South Korea.
Deepak is a senior automotive and manufacturing professional with 30+ years of experience across the automotive and non-automotive, power industries. He brings strong expertise in Plant Management, Profitability, business development, project execution and operational excellence.
As a Mentor to EPSS India, Deepak supports with his industry knowledge, business relationship, manufacturing expertise, team building, productivity improvement and understanding of the Indian automotive ecosystem, particularly in identifying business opportunities, developing strategic relationships and supporting Global companies exploring the Indian market.
Sanjay Tiku is a senior business leader with 28+ years of experience across automotive components and industrial manufacturing. He brings extensive expertise in P&L leadership, Business Transformation, Manufacturing Operations, Turnaround Management, M&A, Joint Ventures and Strategic Business Development.
He has held CEO and senior leadership positions in India & the UK, including investor-led turnaround mandates and management of multi-location manufacturing operations. His experience includes restructuring manufacturing footprints, improving capacity utilization, optimizing costs, strengthening customer relationships and building high-performance management teams.
His international experience spans cross-border acquisitions and post-merger integrations across the US, UK and Germany, joint venture negotiations with leading global companies, and developing long-term relationships with major OEMs.
